A Reaper is a large autonomous mechanical bipedal unit, first appeared in Titanfall 2 and returning in Titanfall 3.
Overview[]
Reapers are autonomous bipedal units that is somewhat in-between smaller Spectres, Stalkers and even Simulacrums and larger piloted Titans.
Variants[]
Usually, the Reapers fires Reaper Rockets and deploys ticks. However, there are variants of these Reaper units introduced in Titanfall 3, especially in single-player campaign and Frontier Defense mode.
Reaper Bruiser[]
First appeared in Titanfall: Assault and returns in Titanfall 3, these variant don't have an ability to fire its own Reaper Rockets nor deploy ticks. Instead, these Reaper Bruiser variant is primarily focused on melee attacks and they can manuver faster than a standard Reaper and other variants. Their punches deals more damage than usual and can block frontal attacks.
Lightning Reaper[]
As the name suggest, this Reaper variant are equipped with a rapid-fire chain-lightning gun rather than Reaper Rockets and instead of ticks, they can deploy a barrage of Electroshock Balls that electrocutes anyone within the area of effect.
Reaper Enforcer[]
Instead of Reaper Rockets, these variant of Reaper fires 35mm concussive grenades at much higher velocities that incapacitates anyone with splash damage (and kill on repeated splash damage) and instantly kill anyone they hit directly and deals massive damage to Titans with a barrage of concussive shots. Also, they can unleash a barrage of Electrostun Grenades in lieu of ticks.
Grim Reaper[]
Right hand is a rapid-fire heavy machine gun and the left hand is a rapid-fire grenade launcher (that fires multiple grenades at once or in bursts) and it can fire a barrage of missiles. Also, they're shielded and moves slower unless its shield is destroyed.
