Titan Fall Fanon Wiki

Arktanians are ancient technologically-advanced alien species in Titanfall universe, first appeared in Titanfall 3 single-player campaign as enemies, though their tech also appears in Titanfall 2 to certain extent. There are ones who made such technology that aren't created by humans like the Fold Weapon, the Ark, and some of the weapons like Mesonic Rifle.

Technically, this technologically-advanced species still exists but in the alternate dimension, just extinct in the main dimension though they can invade the main dimension.

Overview[]

Gameplay-wise, the Arktanians are enemy types different from other enemy types; they have more advanced tech than human counterparts like meson-based weapons that disintegrate anything they hit, and robotic machines like mechanized arachnid and rollers that can turn into a ball at any time that continue to operate even if the species were extinct (at least in the main dimension) a long ago. However, the hostility of such alien machines against humans in Aplistos is not because they're not trying to exterminate foreign species like rogue TALOS AI, instead they fought humans in self-defense and protection of alien tech from being stolen and used by humans in dangerous ways, especially the Frontier Militia in the Outlands presence.

Besides the machines they leave behind even after the extinction in the main dimension, the Arktanian themselves (who are still alive only in alternate dimension) are technically neutral despite being classified as enemies and at times they attack p0358 and other humans for self-defense reasons as they're threatened by both the IMC and Militia forces who are capturing the Arktanians and its tech left behind for study, prompting for invasion into main dimension through the Einstein-Rosen bridge created by Ark's anomalous explosion, and attacking human settlements on Aplistos for unauthorized use of their alien tech on this planet.

Trivia[]

  • Arktanians do speak in a completely-different language from what humans speaks, which is why humans doesn't understand what Arktanians actually says and vice versa.
  • While the exact reason for Arktanian's hostility towards human settlements in Aplistos is unknown, it is speculated that the presence of human groups using its dangerous alien tech might have provoked Arktanians in their fear that misuse of their dangerous technology by other beings could inadvertently destroy the entire planet or worse.
